I used to keep every receipt since 2018 to track my finances, hoping it would help. But it turned into chaos as I tend to put things in random places. Sorting them into labeled envelopes didn't work well either. Recently, I got so frustrated with the clutter that I threw away all partly sorted receipts up to 2021, around 300 of them. Now, I'll only keep important ones or those with sentimental value, but just until I write about them in my diary. I'm trying to establish a new system, but I've sworn to stay away from piles of paper scraps to save time. Time is precious, especially for people with ADHD. ❣️
