It’s totally okay and I feel you!! I can assure you are far from being the only one to feel this way with no apparent reason. I learned something with this app’s stories that helps me a bit. When you feel like you’re sensory overloaded, check if you’re H.A.L.T.: Hungry, Angry, Lonely and/or Tired. I’m more susceptible to be sensory overloaded when I’m doing groceries when I’m hungry, for example. Sometimes, you’re just tired and you need some rest. You can also be tired because you had a lot of social interactions in the week and need a really good amount of rest and to be alone for a while. Or precisely because you had a lot of sensory things to manage during your week! Or you can just be tired from a long day at work. In all of cases, you need to take care of yourself, by eating, calming through breathing exercises, by doing some relaxing activities, by sleeping… it’s sometimes hard to go through that but it’s okay, you will feel better and you’re not alone ❤️
