I used to take many kinds of adhd meds as a kid, I had a tippedyking them as I had felt they never worked, recently started taking them again to improve my performance at work, was taking Concerta, but it is currently in a nationwide shortage, so now I’m taking FocalinXR and so far it’s a rollercoaster whule my body gets used to the switch (sad-ish part next) my emotions are more pronounced during the day, so far ive been extremely energetic ans ready to work but the other day i wasnt feeling the best and had multiple panic attacks i think? I’ve never really had them before, or at least idk if I have, but today is all better now and I hope it stays that way until my body is used to the meds, sorry for the long rant I just felt like saying something
I take adderall 2-3x a day. I only take the third dose if i have late afternoon things to do. I also take Wellbutrin for depression but it helps with emotional regulation as well.
Update: I also 'self-medicate' using THC (cannabis), I know it's not ideal and there's an 'addiction-risk' but I only smoke some when I'm with my SO, plus I don't smoke it every day :) I do smoke regular cigarettes, though, haven't succeeded quitting, yet :/ But I don't consume alcohol, I'm sober since beginning of September 2019 and I plan on keeping it that way💪🏻
I take Effexor daily and it’s helping but I struggle to take my Dexedrine Dexedrine even though I know it helps
