Iโ€™m new here and not sure where to start!

Hey everyone, ๐Ÿ‘‹๐Ÿ‘‹๐Ÿ‘‹ Iโ€™m really excited to be a part of this community! I was diagnosed with combined ADHD a in January so decided to give this app a try. It seems great but Iโ€™ve found everything a bit overwhelming. My main issue is that I just canโ€™t seem to get stuff done and suffer a lot from task avoidance so want to know what this app can do to help that. I would love to know how other people are using the app so i can figure out how to make it work for me? Iโ€™d love to hear your stories ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ˜Œ

I use this apps for the message board. It's nice to have support, and see other people with tips and tricks on how to combat similar ADHD symptoms! Tiimo app is my favorite for tasks, and routines. I'm not 100% in love with it, but it's the best that I've tried so far. Your overwhelming feelings of starting are what's called ADHD paralysis. Look it up, and keep an eye out for other titles that are targeting task/routine issues. There's a ton of great advice on here! Good luck with your journey!!

I have found that the tips from others in the chat section give me some great ideas to help get myself organized, at least as starting points. For example, the google calendar with color coded bill due dates. I just implemented that yesterday, so it's a work in progress. my best advice, don't try to do it all at once. The problems we ADHDers have, especially those of us who are older, have been with us for years, so it won't change overnight. Give yourself permission to be ok with failing. That's how you learn what works for you and what doesn't.
