If you just got a diagnosis I totally recommend just resting in that information for a bit. When I got (a later in life) diagnosis I was so many things at once: relieved there was a definition for the different ways I thought & behaved than others seemed to, mad because of all the time spent not knowing of this diagnosis and how my life could’ve turned out differently (more productive & less confused), grateful that someone finally figured this out, resentful of my parents who didn’t seem to care or they would’ve gotten me the assistance that I needed, and a myriad of other things I needed to deal with! I needed to relax in the diagnosis itself for a bit though and just be thankful that there was now help for me with this information and how much relief I finally felt with myself. How are you doing with this diagnosis? Do you have feelings you will share about it?

Set an alarm or task to take them. I prefer to start new meds or a change over the weekend when I'm not at school or working. The first few days you might have side effects and can get kind of distracting.
