Who else?

Me as well. BPD, Bipolar Disorder, ADHD, OCD Tendencies, Severe Anxiety and Depression…all resulting in insane time blindness, dermatillamania, trichatillamania, misophonia, Dependent Personality Disorder, among chronic pain for 30 Years (45 now). Trying desperately to manage but struggling horribly.

I’ll be completely honest here. I have had anxiety my entire life starting age 2-3 yr old. My mom never knew what it was. I was just a hot mess all the time. I struggled in school everyday. ADHD was not a thing when I was a kid. My first child was adhd since 1st grade but it looked so different than what I have I never ever thought I might be afflicted. When I was an adult, it was manageable but once I had my fourth child at 35 and had severe post pardum depression/anxiety I was not able to function as I previously had. I have anxiety/depression along with what one Dr said was bipolar. However after meeting with a mental health provider who diagnosed me with adhd at 54, he is almost positive I don’t have bipolar. My adhd meds have helped a lot but I have a 10 year hoard/mess to clean up so we can downsize! I am working on it but am thrilled to find a support group who GETS IT!!!

What is DSM-IV?

S***......me 🤣 it got worse as I aged or maybe I'm just now noticing all my issues. I got diagnosed in elementary school in like the 4th grade . So I didn't know anxiety and depression comes with it. Also I get over stimulated at times very easily. And don't even get me started on my monthly visit.....I get so depressed during that time!!!! Also very ocd at times. My mom use to always get so mad at me for forgetting to do things. But now she's not in my life so... better off I guess lol

I’m actually working on getting a full psych evaluation done because I’ve had pretty much the entire DSM-IV thrown at me

✋ Recurring major depression, GAD, obsessive compulsive symptoms (wouldn't say I have full blown OCD), and social anxiety.
