Introvert ADHD?

I think I have adhd but many research page talk about hyperactive and being destructive and I can’t relate to most of them. But I came across briefly about some sort of quiet adhd and I could relate to most of the symptoms. But now I don’t want to do research and burnt out. Could there be a quick search somewhere?

Sometimes the hyperactive part is simply tapping your feet or fiddling with things and not running around wild. Are you easily distracted, have a hard time focusing, forgetful, spend long amounts of time just staring at a wall??? Could (possibly) be ADHD. I'm a male and never been hyperactive so never even considered I could have this. Honestly I thought I was getting Alzheimer's at a very young age until I took this seriously as a possibility

Hello! I’m an introvert with inattentive ADHD! It took me a very long time to come to terms with it and also get a diagnosis because I never had many of the “stereotypical” aspects people usually associate with ADHD. The important thing to remember is that what people assume to be symptoms are often set by neurotypical people, and also, similarly to autism, the traits are often heavily influenced by male stereotypes. Neurodivergence affects men and women differently, because of the way girls and boys are socialised differently. ADHD women are more likely to be inattentive types than men, and vice versa, although not always the case of course. So yes, it is very possible to have ADHD and also be quiet. You’re not alone :)

Yeah, I'd look into the innatentive type of ADHD. Oftentimes, people with ADHD-PI (or ADHD-I) are quieter because of all the crazy thoughts going around.

There are 3 types of ADHD. Hyperactive, Inattentive, and combined. I know I have the inattentive but can also display the hyperactivity symptoms occasionally.
