My nan actually taught me this technique you pick a word that could be random, but nothing too specific! And say it over and over, in your head or out loud! My word is ‘forward’ I link that to letting the thought go and move on! Just move on. Thoughts can be so intrusive but if you take all the space up of your thoughts with that one word I can say, it definitely helped me.
