As a kid I used to hold my breath under water, now it’s hot showers, if you’ve never tried a sauna or a steam room, run to the nearest YMCA that has those things

Find a self care ritual, whether it’s a morning miracle thing, or a evening guided journaling thing w silk and sonder app, or choosing to take a picture of moon rise or sunset /sunrise daily, also knitting but the mindless repeatable pattern kind

I think this is why video games are helpful, the mindless kind though, can you try saltwater floating therapy? It’s on my to do list, but when work had me going crazy I got myself a planet fitness walk or elliptical for 5. Or 30 min then do a round of every type of massage chair /water bed /infrared light vibrating table tube they have as a treat to myself

Trying to meditate, if you get a practice going it can really help calm you internally. It's so hard for me to keep it going but I learned that watching Netflix's headspace series on meditating really helps. It's very visually pleasing and I can put one episode on while trying to wind down in the evening

Thanks so much ! Unfortunately I'm working for the biggest exam of my life to have a chance to graduate at the end of the month sooo for now I just have to push through. Thanks for the support that's very helpfull. Hope you're better now from your burn out :)

Do you have any way to have a break from work/school/other prescribed to you? I was in total burn out in my studies and my psychiatrist prescribed me a week break and it helped so much. Though I know that sometimes the things that take up your time aren’t things you can just take breaks from :( I hope you’ll be ok, keep breathing and try to focus on each day, one at a time. You’re doing great
