i chew on my inner cheeks and tongue without realizing and it gets really sore. my doctor told me it can be from excess anxiety but id recommend chewlery. i have a necklace shaped as a bat its made of rubber meant to chew on better than damaging my mouth lol. google chewlery its not expensive
i’m pretty sure all we can do is have something around that’s more fun to play with lol- one of the reasons i have an undercut is because the buzzed hair feels really nice to run my fingers through
I suggest gum.
Probably by finding a better stim.. chewing gum, curling hair with finger, using a hair bobble to play with your fingers, maybe nail biting instead of lip biting? Idk haha maybe one of those works.. it works for me so it's where I can speak from <3
