Does anyone have suggestions on how to get all your daily to dos done?

Like every single day? I have so many things on my daily to do list, it stresses me every single day. Like all the cleaning, checking emails, paying bills, going for a run, doing a workout, doing meditation, reaching out to a friend, taking the trash out, vacuuming, laundry … It doesn’t end 🙈 And I am only studying right now, so there is not even a job to keep up with, nor do I have children. So I don’t know why I can’t cope or why this is all so much 🙈

I’m thinking of starting my morning me time again. I used to wake up before everyone else and go for a walk as the sun was rising. I’d listen to music or just take in the serenity. After a while I got up to power walks and sometimes running. It felt amazing afterwards. And soon I was hooked because it left me with clarity and calm for the rest of the day. I got more done and was able to feel good about myself. The days I didn’t do it were the worst. It really works. It just takes a bit to get started and keep the momentum. Remember start small and take in the beauty and reward as you go. You don’t have to do it everyday. Maybe ‘promise’ yourself ME TIME twice a week to start off with. And go from there.

I just started using the free version of the asana app. You plug in your to dos and when they’re due. I use it for work and for home. It’s going better for work but I think it’s because I’m sitting at my computer. I started setting every 2 hour reminders to check my asana app yesterday and that helped. I’m hoping once I get used to it it’ll be more of a habit and I won’t have to do the alarms.

Create easy to do tasks to get off on a roll. My first task: look at reminders.

There is no one fix, but many little “Good day habits” that I try to write down when I’m having a … good day. Like actually writing a journal type thing in my note taking app of choice on my phone….. it seems really basic but as we go about trying to EVERYTHING this relies on us paying close attention to basic things that neurotypical people do without thinking. For me these are drinking a big glass of water when I wake up,… which means I also have to have some water left in my room waiting for me otherwise I could forget …
