Reading vs Listening

What works better for you? I can read well but have always struggled to finish a book. In fact, I’ve only ever read one book cover to cover. I’m not sure how I made it through college. If you’re like me and you absorb information best in audible form, try an audio book subscription. Since I signed up to Amazon Audible, I have built a large library of completed books. If you have trouble focusing on the audio, try listening while you’re driving or biking. Not sure why it helps but it does. If you are in school and can’t get the text book in audio format, try using an app like Microsoft Lens or Speechify that can read the book for you.

I prefer to read, but I hyper focus and read the entire thing… so I don’t do that often. 😅

I am pretty sure that most people with Adhd will prefer listening

I like both, but I prefer audio. It's definitely easier to concentrate on the book while taking a walk.

Audio books get me through tough tasks like laundry. Another great option is the Libby App it works with most library cards and if your library isn't a partner ask them to look into it. Ebooks and audio books completely free and latest releases. Game Changer!
