I get like this all the time. But I found a new hack and it seems to be working for me. Maybe it’ll work for you too. It’s called the rule of 17. You just tell yourself you don’t need to do it all, just 17 things. The number 17 is not too big to be overwhelming and not too little to lose momentum. What usually happens is once you hit 17 items you’re usually in a zone and just keep going. And if you don’t want to, we’ll you got 17 things done and you legit finished a task! Either way it’s a win win! I also find putting on headphones and turning up some electronic dance type of music kicks my brain into working mode. Let me know if you have success with this!
