
Sharing struggles at work
Hey all, I recently shared with a colleague who micromanages me that I’ve been struggling as a lot of my job is boring nowadays. We work with big clients together, so I need to work to certain deadlines and keep up regular communication with the clients. She shared this with another colleague, who’s now put in time with me twice a week as a kind of “accountability” system. The first thing we’re trying to help me out is a Gantt chart for my ongoing/future client engagement as well as a daily to-do list. I can see this helping but not sure how it will progress in the long term as now my micromanager is checking in on “how it’s helping” me.. Have any of you shared your struggles at work and had a positive response / found any good “solutions” to share? Thanks x
