Chronic Migraine
I’ve been suffering from chronic migraines since I was ~13. Anybody else? :) not looking for tips, just looking for ppl who can relate.

Have had a rare type of migraine since I was a child. Complex migraines. If you talk to your doctor you might be able to get the migraine Botox injections. 31 injections in your face and skull, but months without migraines, and the side effect is no wrinkles in your forehead lol. Other thing I use is medical cannabis for break thru migraines so I don't have to take pain pills. One thing I learned from an ER doctor was take Benadryl, an aspirin, and Tylenol then quickly drink a Coke or some other soda with caffeine. Has helped, and when I was struggling financially in my 20's that helped in several occasions.
Hey i can relate, but mines is due to hormone. So when i feel dizzy or strat yawning for no reason or even a little tension in my head i try to relax myself in the dark before it’s necessary. And if it’s not enough saddly i take my pills and wait for the storm pass
yes, I have learned over time to recognize the warning signs and I try as much as possible, depending on their intensity, to act just before. Sometimes I feel like it's going to be a big storm when I start to feel the slight pulsation on my temple so I take my migraine medication and either I just have a little headache or it goes away completely. But unfortunately I already have to take quite a bit of medication so I try the previous methods: in the dark, calmly, a little peppermint or cold/hot and I see! Good luck. Migraines are one of those storms that are hard to live with.
I just started having chronic migraines after coming of hormone birth control for the first time since I was 16yo (aside from pregnancies). I’m hoping to get on a daily preventative medication.
I have migraines also. I noticed that I recently started getting them more frequently after the last COVID booster I got about 6 weeks ago. Not fun. I’ve had to start a new medication. It sucks because a lot of the meds I’ve tried have side effects that seem to make my ADHD meds less effective or manageable but help with the migraines.
